Console (show Calendar, Map)



In this page, it is presented a few applications using the libraries shown in Libraries. To view/download each one of them, please click on the items on the left menu.
The following video demonstrates the very same applications developed using the CitySDK WP5 Libraries.

Demonstation Application - CitySDK Tourism

This application uses the directory service to retrieve the endpoint correponding to the search location. It works in Amsterdam, Lamia, Lisbon and Rome. When you switch from city to city, it automatically synchronizes the categories accordingly.

Demonstation Application - MobileGuide

To install the Mobile Guide Android application simply download the apk file here or install a QR code reader (such as Barcode Scanner or Google Goggles), and scan the following code:


Then, simply install the application by pulling down the notifications bar and clicking on the downloaded .apk after it is finished.

Currently, the application supports two languages: Portuguese and English. You can test the QR Code functionality by using the examples in Mobile Guide - QR Code Examples and by setting the default endpoint to Backend in the Android application.

Console Debug

If you wish to see the executed query and its response just toggle the console checkbox:

Enable console (or Ctrl+L to enable/disable console)

Event Calendar

Just use the drop-down list to load any given type of events. Then simply click on the wanted date to display information about it.

Map-based Application

A map-based Javascript application using our library is shown below. Use the view option in the center right to choose either POIs, Events or Routes. Use the top menu to draw any form and view the selected option within the drawn area. The show blocks flag indicates whether neighbourhoods should be drawn in the map or not.

Rome App

The CitySDK layer can be found here. To use it just download the Layar Application for Android or iOS-enabled device (such as iPhone) and enable the mentioned layer within the downloaded application.
